Manuel Manrique Gil - I am researcher interested in African politics, development and new techologies.
    I am 23 and live in Madrid, where I currently work for the Spanish think-tank "Fundación para las Relaciones Interncionales y el Diálogo Exterior" (FRIDE) on Spanish and European foreign policy in Africa, and development issues.
    I studied the International Baccalaureate (IB) in Swaziland, and since then remained involved with Africa. I have lived in the UK - where I have studied a BA Politics (SOAS) and and MSc African Studies (Oxford).
    As well as on this blog, I also co-founded the virtual magazine Africaneando and I write on other online media.

    Tengo 23 años y vivo en Madrid, donde trabajo en el think-tank "Fundación para las Relaciones Interncionales y el Diálogo Exterior" (FRIDE).
    Estudié el Bachillerato Internacional en Suazilandia y dende entonces sigo interesado en África . He vivido en el Reino Unido – donde he estudiado un grado en Política (SOAS) y un máster en Estudios Africanos (Oxford).
